- Open the Lō app and sign in.
- Go to Profile.

Your account is closed immediately and you are signed out on all devices.
2. Delete your account without the app
If you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in, email privacy@lo.example.com with the subject “Account deletion request” and the mobile number registered with your account.
Email an account deletion request
We'll verify the request with a one-time password sent to your registered mobile number, then delete the account within 7 days and confirm by email.
3. What we delete
When your account is deleted, we permanently delete:
- your profile: name, mobile number, email, language and city;
- all documents and photos you uploaded, and their analyses;
- all conversations with Si, including voice recordings and transcripts;
- all Ready-to-File drafts;
- your preferences, saved advocates and notification settings;
- device identifiers and usage data linked to your account.
This data is erased from our live systems within 30 days and from backups within a further 60 days. We also instruct our service providers, including AI processors, to delete copies held on our behalf.
4. What we keep, and for how long
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Payment and invoice records | Tax and accounting laws | Up to 8 years |
| Consultation records (advocate, date, duration, amount) | Disputes, refunds and chargebacks | Up to 3 years |
| Security and access logs | Fraud prevention and legal requirements | 180 days |
| Grievance and support correspondence | Handling complaints and legal claims | Up to 3 years after closure |
Retained records are restricted to what is needed for these purposes and are deleted when the period ends. We may keep data longer only if required by law or a court order.
5. Before you delete
- Deletion can't be undone. Download any documents or drafts you want to keep first.
- Finish or cancel any consultation in progress.
- If you subscribed through Google Play or the App Store, cancel the subscription in the store as well. Deleting your account does not cancel store billing.
- Information you shared with an advocate is also held by that advocate as an independent professional; contact them about their records.
- You can sign up again later with the same number, as a new account.
